Please Continue to Provide Conductor Qobuz!

Hi, Aurender Team
Hey I want to thank you for getting Qobuz Connect out so quickly. I eagerly added it to my N150 and gave it a go. At first, I didn't understand why things didn't really look different. I was using Conductor and it was working more or less as I expected. But then I realized oh, this is like Spotify's Connect feature so I can stream from the Qobuz iOS App to the N150.
Convenient feature for friends, sure, thanks. But please, please keep your own Conductor version of Qobuz because unfortunately the audio sound quality via Qobuz Connect is WORSE than Qobuz in Conductor itself. I don't know the technical reasons why, I just know my ears tell me not to bother with Qobuz's iOS App unless I'm casually exploring. When I really want to enjoy, I use Conductor's Qobuz "channel" and the quality is almost as good as my local hi-res files.
(I realize that last sentence can be dismissed as "subjective opinion" however I would guess that most Aurender customers are seeking the highest audio quality for their high quality systems, hence the purchase of an Aurender product. My system is very revealing but frankly it doesn't take any A/B testing to hear that Qobuz Connect is more compressed and muffled in comparison to Conductor Qobuz–it's that obvious.)
So all this to just say: Please please please...KEEP Conductor's Qobuz streaming feature!!! Please keep the code that gives us high quality sound in Conductor, and thank you for making the sound quality in Conductor with Qobuz outstanding to begin with in the first place!
Thank you!

Laurence, are you sending the data from your iOS device to the Aurender, or are you using your device to control your Aurender? The first would yield the sound quality you describe.

I have a n150 and i tried both methods. If There is a différence. IT is on favor of qobuz connect. Also operations are executed very quickly, almost instant. Same performance with phone or iPad.

Laurence, I haven’t tried a shootout between Qobuz Connect and Qobuz on the Conductor app yet, but I will try it! I think Qobuz Connect sounds better than Roon through my Aurender N20. Have you tried that yet? In a Roon forum, I was told Qobuz Connect & Roon streams bit-perfect, so both platforms should sound the exact same and there must be a protocol/integration issue with my streamer or DAC. This debate got a little crazy as the bit-perfect crowd concluded that either my equipment was the issue or I was hearing things.
So, Aurender support why does Roon sound different from Qobuz Connect when they are both streaming bit-perfect music files?
Luc Michaud
Compare all these with a version on an ssd on the Aurender. Network versions are thinner. Garnier, no matter what switches or Ethernet filtres i use. But the différence is inaudible for Casual listening. I Buy the albums i want to listen loud

Sean That is because you are not listening to the same mastering of a song. Also, ROON may claim to be bit perfect, but whenever I listen to the same song through ROON it does NOT sound the same/as good as when listening to it directly through my Aurender.
Aurender is working on integrating HQPlayer, this will be an improvement.
