Yes !!!

Recently Aurender added the global search, which made it a step closer to Roon. However you still need to select where to search- local library, Qobuz or Tidal. You mean to expand the global search to search across sources rather than selecting up front? That would make things very complex as the same tracks and albums appear in different sources. Roon adds the concept to automatically select the best one, based upon configurable requirments (you can configure to prefer hi-res over redbook, or MQA over hi-res etc). Without that it would become messy.
