Early Access Program Feedback

While using Consume Mode on my Aurender A20, I noticed incorrect Track Artist info on a compilation album. I edited the track in Conductor (Album → Edit → Save), and the Conductor app showed the correction. However, the A20’s front display continued to show the old Track Artist. Steps tried: Skipped back/forward to refresh → A20 still showed old info. Cleared playlist, played other tracks, then returned → Conductor correct, A20 still wrong. Restarted A20 → Conductor still correct, but A20 display continued to show old Track Artist. Expected: The A20 display should update to match Conductor after a metadata edit. Actual: The A20 keeps showing outdated metadata, even after clearing playlist or restarting.

Right now, if an album’s Track Artists include the Album Artist plus extra names (e.g., “Album Artist feat. X & Y”), the only way to fix this is by editing each track one by one. It would be very helpful to have a bulk option such as: “Set all Album Artist = Track Artists” Or a way to remove supporting artists from all tracks at once. This would save a lot of time and keep artist tags consistent across the album.

Currently, editing is possible when navigating by Artist or by Album: Artists → Select Artist → Select Album → Edit (option to edit that particular album) Albums → Select Album → Edit (option to edit that particular album) However, the same workflow is not available when navigating by Genres. At the moment, you can view a lineup of genres, but you cannot select and edit genres directly. It would be very helpful to enable bulk editing by genre. For example: I have a genre labeled “Album Rock; Pop/Rock” that contains 4 albums. If I want to rename this to just “Pop/Rock”, I currently have to edit each album one by one. I also have a genre labeled “Album Rock; Alternative Pop/Rock; Alternative/Indie Rock; Art Rock; College Rock; Contemporary Pop/Rock; Pop/Rock; Prog-Rock” that contains a single album. There is no way to group this album with the previous 4 and rename them all at once. Being able to select one or multiple genres and apply edits in bulk would make the workflow much more efficient. I’ve included a video to illustrate what I mean.

Thank you for this very useful feature. I was able to modify the tags of a good number of albums whose genre was wrong, or whose tracks did not all have the same tags. However, I encountered 2 operating anomalies, and this in a recurring manner: 1/ when I want to edit the tags of an album, I often have to click several times on the edit button for it to activate (Clickable area too small?). 2/ when I want to save my modifications, I get an error message (screenshot). Very often, it is enough to click again on save for the operation to succeed. I will continue to modify the albums that require it, I will give you other feedback if new anomalies are noted.
