Feature Requests

When (while streaming) searching for new music-albums I often come across selections I'd like to listen to, however, one can only listen so fast. I don't want to add a new "potential Favorite" to my Favorites/My Library as it can get lost and/or I lose track of it. It would be great if there was a "holding-listen to later" category so when I find new music I can place it there until I get time to listen to it. If I like it, it'll then be added to My Library & Favorites. If I don't like it, I can remove it from the Holding-Listen to Later file. Most often I have a dozen or more new albums I'd like to hear, but I have no temporary place to keep them until I can listen to them.

It would be very helpful if a user could organize My Library-Streaming content into user-specified/created folders much like you can currently do with flac files on the hard drives. The volume of streaming album favorites gets huge..hundreds to 1000+. A good way to organize these streaming favorite albums is really needed. The current sorting filters in My Library-Streaming helps, but is very limited in use. More organizing ability is needed.

It would be nice to be able to search and sort within my playlist.

I would like to have a view for playlists that group the albums in a grid to be able to select full albums in playlist vs a bunch of individual tracks.

Be able to view an album booklet in pdf format, that is in the same directory as the music files. With Qobuz this is possible, but for own local stored music it is not.

Greetings, Please create a universal search that would allow users to conduct a single search for albums, artists, etc., in local files, Qobuz, Tidal, and any other music subscriptions partnering with Aurender. This feature would make it easier than the current search option. Thanks in advance!

Tidal connect would really perfect your products for me and many others. The tidal experience is compromised through the conductor app particularly when it comes to music discovery.

It would be very interesting to be able to download music purchased in Qobuz, directly onto one of the Aurender’s disks, rather than having to use Qobuz Downloader on a PC/Mac and then send it to the Aurender. Probably the same need with other music sources (Tidal, etc.) This, combined with the new features currently being developed (modifying tags, managing local files), would make the Aurender almost autonomous. Note: I'm creating this entry because I'm not sure if it addresses the same need as Sean's "Cataloging Music Library" entry.

I may have missed it but I would like to create "smart" playlists like Apple has in iTunes (and maybe in Music). Things like the ability to create a smart, dynamically updating playlist of only songs (files, really) rated three stars or more. Or only songs played five times or less (so I can hear songs that I don't often listen to as much). Playlists are really a major feature for local files, and although I do actually use my Macs and iTunes with my Aurender's local files, I want to create local file playlists too because those are often higher resolution files. Anyway, please consider this kind of personal music and library curation feature.
