First, no way to see what is the playlist before. You need to start it to see its content. But the worst is: if you replace the playlist with the best songs of an artist for example and do Save, it will erase the initial playlist with the current contents with no warning, and no way to undo this. On Save at the bottom, you can't change the name of the playlist ! There must be a Save As, so one can change the name and not overwrite the old playlist by default. I lost many nice playlists like that. The three dots to change the name are misplaced. This should be offered when using the Save button at the bottom.

When viewing the tracks in an album (displayed as a list), or when viewing tracks in a playlist, please consider displaying the 0-5 star rating for each song. This helps with knowing which songs have been listened to in the past, and if one wants to revisit certain songs, there's a "history" to reference. When building a playlist with jazz music for example, it's very helpful to see how I felt about a track in the past because I may want to revise my rating based on a more recent listen. If screen space is limited, you could show a star with a number before or after it. So, three stars could be 3*. Zero could be a star outline with a zero.

Please consider this feature as an advanced setting for those of us with many albums that are compilations of certain genres: These compilation albums often have only one song by a given artist/band/composer. When stored as local files, the result is a folder for the artist and perhaps their album, or the name of the compilation album nested, and then the one song. This results in numerous one-song-artists in the library, cluttering up the library and undesirably lengthening the overall list of artists or albums. Just imagine a dozen compilation albums of electronic or hip-hop artists and the "clutter" that would create when trying to just scroll through one's list of artists in Conductor! It would be helpful to set a default, user-selectable display threshold for an artist or album to be displayed in the artist or album view. The threshold might be something like an artist must have at least ___ songs AND (logical "and") ____ albums in order to be displayed in the artist list. For me, I would myself set this to two songs and two albums. And perhaps this could be easily toggled on and off...so you can see how this can quickly get complicated, but I suggest starting with a simple setting which is disabled by default, and then let user feedback guide how much more filtering is helpful. Capability to sort album in the Qobuz page as in the Tidal page

I would like to be able to download music onto my Aurender hard drives and the Aurender automatically catalogs the music files like Apple Music player and Roon. Buying new music downloads and having to add the albums to the artist’s folder can be time consuming if you buy multiple artist’s music files. Is this possible for Aurender to implement?

Hi Team Aurender, Please provide the ability to Drag and Drop to create Playlists. The current way is prehistoric, we Drag and Drop everything. Also allowing the Sorting of the PLAYLIST by either: Song Name, Artist, etc... These would truly be exceptional upgrades!!! Thanks! AndyT...

I may have missed it but I would like to create "smart" playlists like Apple has in iTunes (and maybe in Music). Things like the ability to create a smart, dynamically updating playlist of only songs (files, really) rated three stars or more. Or only songs played five times or less (so I can hear songs that I don't often listen to as much). Playlists are really a major feature for local files, and although I do actually use my Macs and iTunes with my Aurender's local files, I want to create local file playlists too because those are often higher resolution files. Anyway, please consider this kind of personal music and library curation feature.

It would be very interesting to be able to download music purchased in Qobuz, directly onto one of the Aurender’s disks, rather than having to use Qobuz Downloader on a PC/Mac and then send it to the Aurender. Probably the same need with other music sources (Tidal, etc.) This, combined with the new features currently being developed (modifying tags, managing local files), would make the Aurender almost autonomous. Note: I'm creating this entry because I'm not sure if it addresses the same need as Sean's "Cataloging Music Library" entry.

The conductor app allows search by a single category such as genre or song. I would like to search by two categories to display all songs within a genre.

After loading one of my playlists to the queue, all titles show up and I can see number of included titles and total running time - but…..where is the title of my actual playlist to be found..? Please create an easy to see addition of the title of the playlist…best left of the nummer/running time info…see red marked area Regards Peter
