Feature Requests

I have downloaded the full CSV of my library and fed it to ChatGPT. Then I let ChatGPT create playlists for me, and generate M3U files. I place these in the backup folder and then restore backup. A very inconvenient way to import playlists but it works. What I would like is on my iPhone or iPad to use the share option, to share the M3U, and then select the App ‘Conductor’ as destination. If then Conductor would simply import the M3U, that would be awesome. The M3U could contain links to local files or to Tidal or Qobuz. Via the Backup/Restore it works, so via app sharing, it must be technically feasible.

I would love to be able to import iTunes (now known as Music) playlists. I have completely synchronized music files, so finding the identical songs would not be a problem. PS, I agree with the person who has requested a sorting option for existing playlists when you’re playing them, for example, by artist or song title. Thank you for your incredible products. We love our N20!!

First, no way to see what is the playlist before. You need to start it to see its content. But the worst is: if you replace the playlist with the best songs of an artist for example and do Save, it will erase the initial playlist with the current contents with no warning, and no way to undo this. On Save at the bottom, you can't change the name of the playlist ! There must be a Save As, so one can change the name and not overwrite the old playlist by default. I lost many nice playlists like that. The three dots to change the name are misplaced. This should be offered when using the Save button at the bottom.

It would be nice to be able to search and sort within my playlist.

I may have missed it but I would like to create "smart" playlists like Apple has in iTunes (and maybe in Music). Things like the ability to create a smart, dynamically updating playlist of only songs (files, really) rated three stars or more. Or only songs played five times or less (so I can hear songs that I don't often listen to as much). Playlists are really a major feature for local files, and although I do actually use my Macs and iTunes with my Aurender's local files, I want to create local file playlists too because those are often higher resolution files. Anyway, please consider this kind of personal music and library curation feature.

during the years using my AURENDER I already created a lot of playlists (at the moment nearly 100) ...usually to feature the best songs of newly added music. I would really appreciate if there was an easy way having the possibility to.... ....merge several or all already existing playlists into one huge single playlist regards Peter

Right now it’s not easy to switch from one streaming service to another within a Aurender playlist Yes there is a program to switch from Tidal to Qobuz but that is the whole steaming playlist. On my Aurender I have just select streaming tracks not the whole list so that does not work. The other problem is beyond the streaming conversion issue what about local tracks embedded within a playlist? I have all playlists with streaming plus local tracks (DSD, PCM) so there is no easy way to do that either. The only way to switch from one steaming service to another plus keep the playlist exactly as is (just swap out the streaming tracks from one service to another) would to be totally do it manually that I’m aware of. Just too tedious. I realize there would have to be two versions one from Tidal to Qobuz and the other Qobuz to Tidal. That way it would be so much easier to switch from one or the other. I would think both services would not object and obviously need to be involved.

When saving to playlist it’s only give the option to create new list You need to add the option to add to existing list AND show the list of all the existing list so you can choose which one you want to add the album to

Hi Team Aurender, Please provide the ability to Drag and Drop to create Playlists. The current way is prehistoric, we Drag and Drop everything. Also allowing the Sorting of the PLAYLIST by either: Song Name, Artist, etc... These would truly be exceptional upgrades!!! Thanks! AndyT...
